MUSIC CULTURE AND PERFORMING ARTS
Welcome to Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named after K.D.Ushinsky
In 2021 one of the oldest universities of Central Russia — Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named after the founder of Russian scientific pedagogy K.D. Ushinsky (YSPU named after K.D.Ushinsky) is inviting applicants — school-leavers of the People’s Republic of China to study at a new specialty — Musical Culture and Performing Art.
The University is located in the Central Federal District in the capital of the Golden Ring of Russia — Yaroslavl, a city which centre is a World Heritage Site where you can see unique monuments of Russian history and art. YSPU is ranked among the leading pedagogical universities together with the universities of Moscow and St. Petersburg. The university keeps classical pedagogical traditions alive, closely intertwined with modern innovations in the theory and practice of pedagogical and сlassical education. For the last 10 years YSPU named after K.D. Ushinsky has maintained close ties with the PRC universities and our joint educational programme ‘English and Chinese languages’ has appeared as a result.
Our successful experience of implementing cooperation in the sphere of science and education allowed us to open a new educational programme specially designed for the PRC school-leavers — Musical Culture and Performing Art. With the help of Yaroslavl leading lecturers and performers students will acquire practical and applied knowledge of vocal, choral and instrumental performance.
